UK's First Football Club Voiceweb Launched Broca Networks & Arsenal Broadband Launch Arsenal.Com VoiceWeb - The UK's First Football Club Voiceweb. Cambridge (UK) February 2002. Using their voice, Gunners supporters can navigate around the VoiceWeb and get the information they want read back to them. Arsenal.com is the first sports club in the UK to offer a VoiceWeb service to its fans. Technical Information This service is built on top of Broca Networks VoiceWeb platform, which interprets VoiceXML pages (a voice equivalent of Web pages) and reads the information to the user. The VoiceWeb platform uses cutting edge speech recognition technology to understand the users requirements and a computer-generated voice reads the information back to the user.
